People forget that Microcenter has amazing deals in store if you have one nearby. I saved maybe $75-100 on my i5-2500k build over ordering everything online from Newegg.

Here is an A10 7850K Black Edition for 139.00 and you get a motherboard for FREE!

They also have some good Intel bundles. Most processors at Microcenter are around 10% less than newegg and they often thrown in bundle deals with motherboards in addition to their already low prices.

Guys... its 400 dollars. Dont recommend me intel cpu's.

Recommend me some good Amd ones, or rather some really neat Apu's...

Also, i live nowhere near a Microcenter.

Save your money and give your friend some standards instead. It's cheaper, and will benefit him more.

Not really, since most Apu's are not that expensive.

But I was able to squeeze a Core-i3 into the build I suggested, a CPU which matches or bests the FX-6300 at virtually every task you throw at them, that being pretty widely accepted as AMD's best CPU value today. Why not go Intel?

He's not gonna be gaming on 1080p or even 720p for that matter.

As long as it can play most, at an ok resolution, it's fine.

Then he might as well buy a PS4, or better yet wait until his budget can accommodate a reasonable setup.
