Is a Sapphire Dual-X R9 270X 2GB OC with Boost a good video card?

I currently have an ATI AMD HD 6770 1gb and I am deciding to upgrade.
I originally got a PowerColor PCS+ AX7950 Radeon HD 7950 3GB off of eBay for $110, and it wouldn't show any video no matter what I did even replaced the psu and still nothing.
I decided to get a different card off of eBay for $120.50, it is a Sapphire Dual-X R9 270X 2GB OC with Boost. So I hope that is a good video card.
My PC set up is...
Dell XPS 8300 (X8300-7008NBK)
CPU: Intel Core i7-2600 3.4 GHz
Mobo: Some generic board has no name on it.
Graphics Card: ATI AMD Radeon HD 6770 1GB
PSU: Rosewill 550W (originally had a Dell 460W)
RAM: 8 GB
HDD: 2TB
OS: Win 7 Home Premium

Depends on what games you play, I have a 7870 GHZ Edition and it's fairly good.

Also, never buy used AMD cards.

I play mainly shooters. Metro 2033, Metro Last Light, the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games, Mass Effect games, Far Cry 3, and a lot of others but those are the main ones.
I have always bought new cards in the past, but I can't afford those types of cards new at $200 or more.

You should be able to run most of those games on at least high with ~60FPS.

Due to AMD cards beings very good for mining, people buy them, use them to their breaking point and then sometimes try to sell them.

it's bordreline for that price. that's just a 7870 rebrand. it won't run the metro titles or far cry 3 very well above medium settings at 1080p.

Pretty much no one is going to recommend buying used AMD cards since they were probably in bitcoin mining rigs.

Anyways, if your new card works it'll be a fine mid range card.

It'll handke FC3 at least just fine. I'm running it on high without issues on a 7850.

Well I hope that the Sapphire Dual-X R9 270X 2GB OC with Boost is a lot better for fps and performance in games than the ATI AMD HD 6770 1gb that I currently have now. I am sure that it will be, but how much better?
