I can not play a male character when given the option..

This train of thought is very disturbing.

You can NEVER play a male character? Like....how does this happen?

Why would you want to if you're given an option for a female character?

Male characters get shoehorned in as the lead protagonist in 99% of games so when you get a choice it's always nice to go for the road less traveled.

You get to be a horndog AND have an interesting new experience when you play the female character.

This is one area where the SJWs are right; young white men have been the lead protagonists in most games for so long that it's just so boring. A decent game can become a great game just by having an interesting main character.
