I really liked Risen 2 from start to finish. Can't wait for Risen 3. I can't believe it's out next month! The environments look great.

I love the Risen games, sure they're not the greatest quality but both games hooked me in and i spent countless hours in them and plan to do so again next month!

Both times they tried something different, it didn't turn out so well. Gotta give them credit for that, though at this point i would love to have a gothic 2 clone.

Risen 2 isn't that bad... at least story-wise. I still see guns, that's not a good sign. Glad to see no companion for 90% of the video. It's funny they have a new hero, because I didn't realize the guy in Risen 2 was the same guy for the first 4-5 hours; it wasn't as obvious as in Gothic 1 -> 2.

2 weeks from now, huh? Came out of nowhere.
... even on Earth Mode.

I'm going to be honest.

"going back to its roots" is pretty much the biggest red flag statement in my opinion.

almost every time I've heard of something "going back to its roots" its been some sort of hybrid disaster.

Already got my copy pre-ordered, which I rarely do for any game.

Really excited to see what they're bringing to the table this time, though it looks great from what they've shown so far.

Wow, I really do like the environments but I don't really have any good expectations of the game to be honest. Hopefully it can defy my expectations though!
