I've used this to go from red to green

Try this. Unless if someone else has a better suggestion? I also say clean up your registry.

What games are you trying to run that won't load up in DX10?

One game that I am having the most issues with is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat. With my old card a HD 6770 I was able to play it on DX10 without any issues, but this new card R9 270X the game will freeze and then crash to the desktop on DX10. I can get it to work in DX11, but I want to use DX10 to get better performance and more fps.

DX11 would actually give you better performance, so long as you don't use any of the DX11 options.

That's true, DX11 shall give better performance if all things are equial. But plenty games automatically activate extra effects when set at DX11, with no in-game options to turn them off.

The strangest thing after reading soo many things on the internet I came across GSC Game World forums with a topic on "Game crashes when i enter the options menu." that some are talking about an update for Microsoft Windows (KB2670838) that causes this issue.
So I found it on my PC and deleted it and dx10 now works on my games.
Now I am happy that it works! Yea!

Bro
just download a new graphics card

Why don't you download the default font?
Isn't that right, Zach?
