Played Crusder Kings 2 for almost a 24 hour period., only stopping to eat and shower.

That was a couple of weeks ago after already playing the game for a few hudred hours.

The game is WAY too addictive.

Did two 48 hour marathons "back to back" with about 6 hours sleep down time in between back in the day on Everquest.

Daily 12-18 hour runs weren't anything uncommon for a lot of people since it used to be mostly college students and "self made people" with very few children.

I'm sure I broke 12 hours in a single sitting when I played Phantasy Star Universe back in high school. Still included bathroom and eating breaks, but still.

In the late 90s i got hooked into an MMO called Asheron's Call. I took a few days off work and stayed up for at least 48 hours playing it.

Not a proud moment but those mountain dew bottles got 2 uses lol. There was no need to exit the chair at all. Microwave on the top shelf of the desk and a minifridge on the side.

Looking back, being an 18 year old slacker wasn't as much fun as I thought it was at the time lol.

Dark Souls II at launch, me and my friend spent a solid 40 hours in my living room with our PS3s, playing through it start to finish. No regrets - though I'll definitely never do it again.

When Ocarina of time came out in 1998, it was my birthday and Thanksgiving holiday. My mom had picked it up and dropped it off to me on her lunch break around 11. Had my buddy over and we jammed until around 7am the next morning.

Shamefully 16 years later, with a family of 2, I got a friend who recently got into steam and picked up Civ 5. A couple of months ago we started playing a game around 11am, and we didnt stop until around 2am, with breaks to eat and what not.
If I had arms, I would try harder.
