I would need something that would be good for the metal mesh on my case.

also curious, i knew i should have gone with a white case. leaves more options. i have a pure black so i feel like horror would complement the case best.

I've heard automotive paint works well if you have the tools to apply it

I've used $5 rattle cans and I've shot panels with my HVLP and premium paint and honestly, the difference was in the surface prep and finish work more so than the paint involved. I'm not saying quality paint doesn't matter, but going all out and spending $150-200/gallon on premium automotive paint is a bit extreme in most cases.

Obviously if it's your first time, buy an extra can and practice on something you don't care about.

need to sand, then prime, then paint, then sand with a fine grain paper, then paint then add clear coating and done.

if that's too much work then just paint over your case with multiple layers of paint

that seems like too much work just to do a few small sections of the case.

Car paint works well. You can buy touch up spray cans of car paint cheap at hardware stores. Then just spray it on and let it sit.

I would just a buy a nice can of spray paint ($15) with a decent nozzle, not some $5 one. Go on youtube and check out the different types of paints to get an idea of what it would look like.
