How much would a good gaming PC be? Like one that can play FFXIV on optimal settings?

As far as alienware laptops
go, xotic pc sager/clevo/msi cost less... And one does not simply buy built
pc's, man builds one himself :')

You could build an amazing desktop for less than 1,000 dollars, probably less.

I would estimate about 1k assuming you buy all the parts and build it yourself. I mean, you could probably build one that runs FFXIV well for less (it's an MMO after all, they usually have less intensive graphics), but $1000-1200 will give you something that will last for a while without being obsolete.

You're paying for the brand. Get an ASUS ROG, sager, or a lenovo Y Series.

I have a ASUS ROG with GTX 870M laptop and it can play FF14 on maximum (with fps drops in highly populated places) , but I keep it on High/Standard for stableness. It costed me $1300.

alienware is worth it bro just a lot of haters here on that company anyway you could def find an alt company for a cheaper gaming pc but if i was buying pre built id go with alienware
