Having a really hard time deciding. I'm in Europe btw, so no newegg or amazon.com. Current specs in sig.
A Gsync monitor is really expensive, but it's pretty much a buy once and keep it.
A 1080ti is quite the upgrade from my 680, I'm looking at a Zotac AMP version, 650 euros, but it looks like it uses quite a bit more wattage than an EVGA one (320 vs 250). Should still run fine on my PSU right?
Then there's the fact that I might be bottlenecked with the new videocard. I still haven't OC'd my i5 2500k, never found a simple guide for my mobo and don't really trust myself messing it up. Changing the CPU would require a new mobo though.
So what do you guys think would be best?

I would go Monitor asap (without gsync, really overpriced imo) , then mobo/cpu/ram (mostly because you are not overclocking the current, plus that ram is really slow) and then a gpu of that caliber. Maybe you'll go vega or even volta by then :-P Your psu is fine.

@NoiSy_MaN Yea I figured monitor would be the best bet.
Someone recommended me a Dell s2716dg, but some reviews mention ghosting and I definitely don't want to blow 600 euros on a not-so-perfect monitor.
Any suggestions for 1440P? I'd rather it have Gsync as well tbh.

Monitor.

Your CPU is really old but if you've been quite happy with it so far without overclocking then you should be happy with it for a while yet one you overclock it. It's still quite a capable CPU.

8GB RAM is the bare minimum but will get the job done. Shouldn't need to worry about that for a few years yet.

your GPU is still quite capable.

a 900p monitor though? not good enough! get a 1080p monitor.
PS4 (Slim), PC (i7-6700K, 16GB, GTX 1070).

Why not grab a 1070 and a CPU/mobo? Between ryzen now and coffeelake coming you could do a pretty balanced upgrade and it would be the best bang for buck. If you're set on getting the best high end components then I'd say a monitor and wait til you get more cash do the rest.
I can be patient, but I'm not waiting!

Best gsync monitor right now is the Viewsonic XG2703-GS. Maybe you should also consider waiting for the upcoming hdr monitors, if you are interested in that.

Would the Acer Predator XB271HU be ok? It seems like they're the same specs wise. Not 100% sure though.
I might just go for a 1080P monitor instead, since 1440P requires so much more power and I like having a future-proofed card and keep it for a while. Tough decisions.

Disregard all I said about the Acer monitor, it has fake 8 bit colors.
That Viewsonic really seems great, quite expensive though... I'll think about it. Thank you for the tips :)
