I was on the fence between the Xd and the Win. ultimately I went with the xd. It is much cheaper than the Win and is more than sufficient to run emulators and SPMC.

Is it good for you to use personally? Also what games do you play. Also do you use it often? I want to buy one but haven't made the leap of faith.

I have one.

I would LOVE to use it more (has great battery life and I have a fascination with UMPCs) but it has a f***in' annoying bug in the firmware or hardware engineering that causes it to crash-reboot randomly if it's asleep. I have to put it in Hibernate to avoid this and thus I lose its versatility as a UMPC.

At best I start up a couple of emulators periodically. It also gets my palms really sweaty (supposedly the aluminum body version is better about heat dissipation) and running Windows Update on it takes for-freaking-ever for some reason (even though it's got similar specs to my Dell Venue 8 Pro).
DorkLink said I could borrow his signature so I did (see below):

Yeah that was one of my concerns, figured that windows would be finicky just because of drivers and issues like that

I have the Android version and I love it. I'd be interested in the Windows version if I could get it under 300

Ooh thats good, have you had experience with the Dolphin Gamecube emulator?

I stumbled upon videos where people are playing even Gamecube games and wii games off of their phones full speed. Wondering how the GPD XD stacks up in comparison

Tbh if it is capable of that at this pricepoint, I'd consider it better than the 3DS and PS Vita. I used to love that game when I was younger. I still play it regularly after all these years

I cant wait till mines come so I can test it lol

I wanted to get a GPD XD but the lack of removable battery is an issue for me. The 3DS has removable batteries which is essential on every portable device I purchase. It's for this reason that I do all my portable gaming on my Note 4. More than meets my requirements.
