Witcher 3 was fantastic and I will replay it many times but it didn't turn me off from other adventure/rpg/action games because the combat is pretty weak compared to other games in the genre and sometimes you just wanna have some fun combat.

But I have to agree the total picture is fantastic, I will probably never get enough of the music and world.

The combat was dull enough to prevent it being one of my "best of" games, and I don't understand why they can't get something as simple as character movement down quite right. Pretty damn impressive otherwise.

I don't understand the critisims for the games combat when literally every other rpg has the most simple combat ever. Skyrims you just hit a guy with a block of wood and block and win. This game actually requires you to dodge and use the right potions and oils on the hardest difficulties. I do agree that quin is a bit overused, but it's still pretty good compared to most rpgs.

Skyrim has like 50 or more ways to engage enemies.
All Geralt does is dodge, swing, shoot(Who ever uses the crossbow anyway) and use one of the 5 signs.

While we're talking about witcher 3....who would win? Dijkstra, little finger, or master of whisperers?

Only one of those characters are from Witcher 3.

The Quest structure could've used more variety and overall I thought the second game had better pacing and more impactful choices but Witcher 3 is still a hell of a game.

Meh to each his own. Skyrim combat is dull and boring. There isnt a proper was to dodge in skyrim only real defense is blocking and running. =/ Also Skyrim is less skill based and more stat based. Your stats higher than the enemy? kill, if not, tag and run and repeat
While I may not agree with your opinion, I will defend to the death your right to have it.

I too found Skyrim's combat to be meh. Dragon's Dogma and even Witcher 2 had better combat to me.
Do you live in the Toronto (Canada) area? I am selling a bunch of GB games, GBA games, and manuals. PM me if interested.
