I played some need for speed: most wanted(2005) and found out that I actually am pretty good at it. Cars are pretty easy to control. I think i finally found the racer series that's for me.

This a big deal to me, and I've been searching off and on for almost 2 decades trying ot find something that I can handle. Can't stress how happy this makes me.

I looked into the series. Apparently you can transfer your saves into the next game a lot of the time, making the previous game easier.

I also found this list too:

http://www.thegamer.com/ranking-every-need-for-speed-game-from-worst-to-best/

So I'm thinking maybe I should play the top 15 games from the series, minus the 2 of the 15 that we're pre-2000., and play them in the order of the year that they were released.

Think it's a good idea?

Oh, and here's the order I have planned.

15. Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed (2000)

6. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002)

4. Need for Speed: Underground (2003)

2. Need for Speed: Underground 2 (2004)

1. Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005)

10. Need for Speed: Carbon (2006)

8. Need for Speed: Undercover (2008)

14. Need for Speed: Shift (2009)

3. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010)

5. Need for Speed: Shift 2 – Unleashed (2011)

13. Need for Speed: The Run (2011)

9. Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2012)

7. Need for Speed (2015)

hey its your time so if you want go for it.

seems really silly to spend 400+ hours on old racing games imo.

I dunno, man. I beat Underground some time ago and I gotta say, if it weren't for nostalgia, I wouldn't have done it. It suffers a ton from rubber banding, making the whole game a rather unpleasant experience when you focus on the actual gameplay and not on the street racing fluff/theme. I never noticed that as a kid, but who other games could possibly suffer from the same issues.

I wouldn't suggest playing through all of the games unless you've got a lot of time on your hands.

I'd suggest playing either the newer Hot Pursuit (2010) if you want more quick racing and crashes without story, or Carbon/Underground if you want to have more of the street racer storyline.

Have you played Burnout Paradise ?
It's awesome.
And yeah Hot Pursuit 2010 is pretty good too.
There's also Driver San Fransisco.

Wait on NFS Payback. It's looking like it might be a really good addition to the series where otherwise I only kinda enjoyed some of the other games except Most Wanted (2005) which was amazing.

Jumping straight to underground 1 as I had problems with porsche unlimited and Hot pursuits 2. Guess that they're too old.

Oh sorry, I missed this. What exactly is rubber banding?
