With a 1060 you won't be able to max a lot of new games and stay above 60fps. Although if you have g sync then dropping below 60 isn't a big deal. But the 1070 is really worth the extra cash.


It maxes pretty much everything at 1080p minus resource hogging game works features

The 1070 is better placed for 1440p

1060 can do entry level, 4k despite what this board would have you believe 1070 is capable of mid range 4k
