I'm a Trailer Trash Teenager that isn't good with electronics looking to build a PC. What can I expect when looking for parts and where should I look for them? I'm not looking for something that can do 4K ultra settings type stuff. Just something that's good enough to play something like Overwatch.

Not for $250 dude that you cannot even get a decent GPU for that.

I mean, yeah, you're not gonna build a PC for that but you don't need 250 for a decent gpu.

Your best bet is to buy a used PC from Craigslist or something.

Buy used for sure, $250 . . . . . might be able to buy a used PC capable of running Overwatch semi well. You aren't building a PC for that, the OS alone costs a very solid chunk of your budget

he's looking for something like a workstation dell from 2011 on craigslist where he can then buy a used graphics card for 100 bucks.

400-500 and I might be able to scrounge up a build but 250 simply isn't enough

something like this is exactly what he's looking for

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dell-Optiplex-990MT-Core-i5-2500-3-3GHz-8GB-250GB-Windows-7-Desktop-PC-Computer-/202016032872?hash=item2f09180868:g:KMwAAOSwj8JZi2t0

spend the rest on a used videocard, id recommend a short gpu otherwise you might have to cut out the hdd section there and move the hdd

and chances are he'd have to get a used psu to support a gpu i think these come standard with 250w
