loading saves
loading new areas/fast travel

World of Warcraft.

I can't speak for recently but back in the day it was amazing getting my first SSD and having areas load almost instantly

Well games take up a lot of space, so the 256 SSD is gonna be saved only for the worst of the worst for load times.

That is actually not supposed to happen. There is a fix for people experiencing it that uncaps the framerate for loading screens, it dramatically cuts the load time. Ssds get the same problem.

Definitely Battlefield 4 when the multiplayer map is loading on a regular hard drive takes about 2 - 3 minutes on the SDD takes about 20 seconds.
