...lol. What a wonderful deal. May or may not be as fast as the 7700K and will have MT performance of the Ryzen 1600...for $400 + a new motherboard. Intel really loves us and they can really put out competitive designs. I couldn't be happier.

The launch event was for the laptop chips, no desktop CPU's until Q4...lol. And officially, new motherboard required. I know some of you held out hope.
