Great advice! And ya, I am not a big multimedia hog so I don't need that much space. I'll switch out the SSD for a smaller one and upgrade to the 1060.

Thanks everyone! I think I am set now!

You don't want the 3GB 1060 if you can help it. 6GB will do much better for you.
Hey, how come my two cents is only worth like a half a cent?

I'm not defensive I just don't get the trolling remark, whats the joke there?

Also, i selected the ASUS GeForce 6GB Dual-Fan OC Edition VR Ready Dual HDMI DP 1.4 Gaming Graphics Card DUAL-GTX1060-O6G. So many different GPU SKU's how do u even choose!

Here is a review, total cost came to $2,320.17 from Amazon with taxes, environmental fee's in. (So much tax!)

Case: Corsair Carbide Series 270R
Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 LED
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600X Processor
GPU: ASUS GeForce 6GB GTX1060-O6G.
M/B: Gigabyte GA-AX370-Gaming K7 AM4 AMD X370

Storage: Western Digital 1TB 3.5" 7200 RPM
Display: ASUS VE247H 24-Inch
OS: Windows 10 USB
Keyboard: Corsair STRAFE Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

Now i got to learn how to put this thing together! Any tips?

I see nothing wrong with this besides possibly the RAM and Keyboard (TBH I would get a 1600 and a better cooler, like the NH D15).

Also I have that motherboard.

Oh that Power Supply MAY NOT WORK WITH THAT Motherboard. I got that PSU and returned it because it would work on my motherboards but not the K7. It's a known "bad" power supply.

What makes ram good/bad? My understanding so far has kind of been ram is ram and that no more than 16gb is needed.

I guess I'll find out about the PSU!
