Looks like a very solid build, the only thing you could add is an SSD but it's not a necessity.

8GB of RAM is also still enough. Upgrade when you have to, ram became weirdly expensive lately.

Thanks. I might upgrade the graphics card a bit more. I just basically wanted a budget pc that would play waht I wanted and a little more.

Just get a 256 SSD for the OS and a game or two that really has a massive improvement over HDD. Like Battlefield 4. Its like 2 and a half minuts to load a map on HDD compared to like 30 seconds or less on the SSD.

I've got over 10 gigs of RAM in use right now without even having a game open . . .8 GB is getting to be pretty dated, I've hit 12-14 while playing games fairly frequently

It's fine for the budget but I'd get an SSD

Get a better CPU and 16GB of at least 3000MHz DD4 if you're going Ryzen.
Ryzen 5 1600X 4GHz | 16GB 3200MHz DDR4 | GTX 1080 2GHz | HyperX SSD | 28" Acer 4K
Playing: Splatoon 2 | Mario Kart 8 Deluxe | Shovel Knight
