Anime art style games?

You know the ones where the guys look like girls and all the girls have the school girl socks on

I feel like these seem to be super popular but as soon as I see this stuff I'm like no get that away from me

Pretty silly to not play a game because of its art style. If it's good then I'll play it.

Sadly, most of them are not.

It's not the art style so much as all the tropes that are invariably coming along with it.

That's a plus for me, JSRF is my favourite game ever. Now, if you mean those JRPGs graphics like the neptunia or tales games l might try to avoid them, l don't like games with thay weird mix of anime models in 3-D without proper cel-shading.

This - though I would never avoid a game simply due to its artstyle, if it's an otherwise good game. Some games like the Neptunia series, sound interesting from a gameplay/story perspective, but the fact that the characters look like they're 13/14 tops and they're dressed in lingerie really turns me off of that series. I'll never understand/agree with the Japanese obsession with sexualizing really young looking girls (I don't care if they're "18" etc. they look like middle-schoolers, and that's creepy to me).

generally i associate it with low quality games and visual novels(not necessarily bad or low quality).

do i think all anime art styled games are bad, nope, but enough of them to make me wary of any game that uses them.
