I currently use Crashplan home/family with around 5 computers for $15/month but they've just announced that they're cancelling their home service soon so I need to look at alternatives with unlimited backup storage.

Are there any which can be recommended with multiple systems in mind?

Crashplan themselves recommended Carbonite. I upgraded to Crashplan for Small Business since I only backup one computer, and now i get to pay only 2.50 monthly for a whole year.

I just wanted to keep my options open, it seems that carbonite core is the closest to the family plan but still costs more and isnt available with monthly payments (hopefully the discount would apply).

The reason I only backup a single computer is actually because I put everything in a NAS. Perhaps you can invest in something similar to keep costs down?

I can condense it down to four, but thats the minimum due to the amount of data involved, type of data, speed, etc.

For now Im trying backblaze, mainly because with four machines it isnt too bad cost wise, its available monthly and I happened to have a voucher from an old humble bundle.
