The only guy in this thread, who wants this port to happen is the TC, who is also a PS4 owner and gamer....so your comment doesn't make sense.

I'd never see anyone on ps4/xbox/nintendo/any platform ever wanting a port of a game not originally on their system. That just doesn't happen.

Don't care anymore. PC gamers have moved on. You either release the game immediately & simultaneously or you lose our business & esteem.

We've got 40 years of a backlog through official and emulated software. I don't wait on you, you wait on me. I'm seriously considering not getting Sonic Mania because of that nasty two week delay.

If you seriously think that the whole "PC master race" thing is actually about race, then you're more foolish than your username makes you look.

I'm sure you know how it started...but if you didn't, it started from a console gamer (Yahtzee) making fun of PC gamers (where every game needed a complicated control scheme and a manual as thick as a book) and like how many people do in such cases, they took the joke and ran with it. As jokes go, it's tired and old already, but it's still just a joke, and only the most severely bitter people would be genuinely upset about it.

Get over it.

Also, exclusives are stupid in general and are designed to make cheezy hardware look better by virtue of the fact that if you want the game in question you have to buy the hardware. In a perfect world everyone would have access to the game of their choice on the platform of their choice, but we live in a world where marketers try to figure out ways to make stupid people do what they want them to do, so we have exclusives, timed exclusives, ports that are gimped intentionally to make the s***ty hardware look better (Or at least not as bad), and so on.

As PC gets more and more popular for gaming, we're starting to see old games ported over (like Bayonetta) and consoles are getting PC games ported over too (PS4 just got Elite Dangerous recently).

Anyone giving someone s*** about "port begging" comes off sounding like a brat who is mad that they might not the only ones on the block with the cool toys anymore.

Great response and agreed with all of it. My response would have just been lol since he is being deliberately obtuse.

Your reek of reassurance. And the only one genuinely upset right now is you. The irony is spilling out of your fingertips and you don't even realize it. Joke or not means nothing when PC gamers actually believe it.

Also, that's business. It's in every businesses best interest to provide a service that only they can provide. It gives customers what they would call "incentive" to give them money. In the gaming world, this means exclusives. And to everyone that isn't getting their way, it seems to be a stupid business practice because it keeps gamers from enjoying games.

No one ever seems to say much when other businesses do it though do they? You don't ever see anyone calling HBO stupid for only providing THEIR shows through THEIR streaming service do you? Why doesn't Disney allow Sony to make a Star Wars movie? Why doesn't Warner Brothers allow Lionsgate to make a Batman movie? Why even have property rights at all? No, it's only when it comes to gaming that suddenly exclusives should be owed to everyone who doesn't own the console the game is on. Hilarious.

While it's true, that for Sony/MS/Nintendo it's buisiness and seem to be a rational decision from their perspective, it's not an excuse on the consumerside to gloat about exclusives, rejoice that only your platform has a certain exclusive or rage out, if an exclusive becomes a multiplat.
Consumers, who defend this mentality are nothing but indoctrinated corporate sheeps, unable to think on their own. I mean seriously, how does it hurt YOU, if a game becomes a multiplat. Contrary to what Sony and MS would like you to believe exclusives are bad for 3rd party developers.
Ironically the whole "muh exclusives"-mentality is more in align with the Nazi-mentality, than the PCMR-thing.

Go talk to the devs.

If there is enough of a demand and sony doesn't have some kind of lock on the game.

maybe we will get it.

I agree with everything you said except this. Seeing console gamers as peasant trash and lesser forms of gamers, is COMPLETELY inline with Nazi mentality. How you could genuinely argue that boasting about exclusives is more inline with the Nazi mentality is ludicrous. Console gamers priding themselves in exclusives, is more along the lines of peasants giving their lives to their king because he provides them a few drops more of milk.
