Added a brand new feature.
Decided it wasn't a great fit for the Pro license.
Moved it to different Pro Workstation license.

I don't really see a problem. It's not like they removed Win32.

I agree but to me it doesn't make sense to remove it since its already there. Maintaining the ReFS feature doesn't cost them money. If it's because people bought Pro over Pro Workstation for that reason. It's Microsoft's fault for including it earlier. They should give free update for those people.

That's because you read the article and didn't buy into clickbaity headline nonsense that's meant to make you furious.

You'd think TC would care more about Pro for Workstations supporting twice as many processors and three times as much RAM instead of a file system he'd never use and probably never even heard about before reading that article.

Only thing that bothers me is Windows 7 ultimate was downgraded to pro, then a new higher version was added. That's not cool.
But it was free, so what can you honestly say?

That's pretty lame, since they included it as a feature and are now hacking it out just to make a quick buck.

I don't use this feature, so paying more for that feature for those who actually have load of money should pay for it.

I read this as "A feature that 99% of people didn't need or use has been moved to an OS SKU that 99% of people won't ever run or even want".
