Some say it is suicidal for 99% of developers to sell their game outside of Steam

They also missed the fact that the industry average is 30%.

.....and Xenosaga is a known troll for clickbait topics.

Steam is a joke. Until a few years ago it didn't even have proper in game controller support and the ability to change installation directories FFS, and its ingame overlay is still barebones. And that's not mentioning Steam Machines and SteamOS flopping out of the gate with Gabe Newell's hilarious attempt to take on MS and fleecing Linux fanboys.

Games for Windows Live will always be a better client.

What? While I agree they should have had some of the recently introduced features awhile ago, Steam is still the best platform for PC games. It has it's flaws sure, but all around it's the most user friendly place to build your library.

I do wish other platforms would rise up as having a monopoly is always bad, but most people would rather have most of their games in one place and Steam is still the best by a long shot for that.

Corrupt? No. I mean, Gabe is indeed a greedy tub, he let kids gamble away and develop gambling addictions without any age restriction and only """stopped""" after he got called out. So he's morally corrupt but operates within the law because it's in his interest to do so.

I was gunna say everyone can have their opinion, and then you said GFWL is better and thus you lost any credibility.

Wouldn't surprise me if they omitted it by choice. The more I read about it, the more it feels like playing the victim card for public sympathy *shrug*.
