Thank you for entering my thread! I just recently upgrading to a all new computer build. My rig is only used for high end gaming. Here are my specs
I7 7700k OC 4.8ghz
Gtx 1080 ti gigabyte extreme
UD3 gigabyte z270 mobo
16gb ddr4 3000mhz evga
Evga 750 watt g2 pay
1T Seagate hybrid drive
480gb ssd Intel ssd5
H60 corsair cpu cooler
1440p 144hz IPS 27inch gsync Acer monitor

I think I have a pretty good rig for gaming so not sure why I'm getting stutter in games. When I play overwatch battlefield 1 and pubg I get micro stutter and normal stutter.
I thought it was gsync messing up so I turned off gsync and it still happened.

All three of those games are on my solid state so could it be my solid state or something else. I am VERY determined to fix this problem because i want an amazing gaming experience which is why i paid all this money for these parts.

I am stomped and I really could use some help solving this problem.

I have already removed nvidia drivers and install the new ones. My vpuoverclock is stable and under idle my cpu is in the 30c 40c and under load 60-70c. My gpu stays around the 60s c.
Intel I7 7700k 4.8ghz 16gb RAM DDR4 3000mhz ,GTX 1080 ti, gigabyte z270 MOBO, Corsair 540. Gaming at 1440p 144hz is just amazing!!! PC MASTER RACE!

How long after building the PC did you get the stutter problems? Were they there from the beginning? Have you updated the BIOS version on your motherboard?

Have you been pirating? You likely have a hidden bitcoin miner dragging your GPU down during gameplay. They are sneaky little bastards.

I should have mentioned this but it actually happened on my last build too when I had a i7 4790 gtx 1080. I'm thinking it might be my solid state so I'm going to test that out. Also on Reddit a guy just asked me if I'm using 2 displays with different refresh rates and I am. Could that be it?

Go back to stock, stable overclock doesn't mean s*** because you could mean it's stable for 30 minutes of prime95, lol.

I tested it for several hours in prime95 I'm pretty sure it's not my overclocking because it also happened in my old bill when I had a i74790 non overclockable with a GTX 1080

Then what's the common denominator between the two builds? Did you reuse any parts when you built you new PC? Take them out and see if the problem persists.

I am running a 1440p 144hz monitor and a 4k 60hz monitor with the 1440p as my gaming monitor would that cause any issues? They are both pluged into my gpu one DP and the other hdmi?

Man unplug your secondary monitor and see if it persists.....not trying to be a dick but it seems obvious.
