There's nearly 200 gb on my pc that's unaccounted for, how do I find it?

I have a 1 TB hard drive. 700 gb is devoted to videos, and about 50 gb is to all the rest of the computer, like games, program files, and just everything that's not the videos folder. But my computer says that I'm down to only 60 gb left? Where the hell is that missing 200 gb?

You could try using TreeSize Free to get a good idea of what's taking up the most space in your hard drive.

A pc's brain is the cpu, its heart is the motherboard, its stomach is the hard drive, and its anus is the user.

Another vote for WinDirStat here...

EDIT: I assume you've checked your restore points to see how much space they're taking up?

I've never done a restore point.

Erm... @_@

Windows automatically backs up restore points at regular intervals unless you've explicitly disabled that feature. You may want to check again. Betting you've got quite a few restore points if you believe you've never done one.

Restore points can take up a lot of space. It's probably that.
