Needs:
- First off, it HAS to be on Amazon, since I have a gift code.
- Second, I'm not willing to pay more than $70.
- The main thing I want is good sound-quality over-the-ear headphones (NOT on-ear or buds), with a removable aux cable for easy carrying, that's comfortable to wear, doesn't have any glowing lights, and the like. It also needs good passive noise canceling (or active, but it can't cost more than I said above).
- Other features like a mic are totally optional, as I don't ever play online games, and I don't need any control buttons on the headset (since I'm literally right in front of my keyboard when I'd use it). Wireless is also optional, but liked.
- Not required, but I'd enjoy if the cups are deep so that your ears aren't pressed against the speaker.

The first one (blue), pros:
It's much cheaper, it's highly rated among anything else in its price range, and I like the look better. It also has no glowing LEDs, which I normally avoid.

Cons:
It has play/volume/forward/back buttons on the side cup, so if I rest on my side while wearing them, the weight of my head could press one of the buttons (possibly. I don't know for sure, since I haven't seen how easy they are to press.) No warrantee.

Question:
Can anyone confirm the cups are big enough to engulf the ears? I saw a youtube reviewer say you might need small ears.

As for the second one, pros:
Active Noise Canceling, which I love (though it slightly reduces audio quality). Longer battery charge, and recharges more quickly. And it has a warrantee.

Cons:
It's about $35 more, and I don't like how it looks visually as much.

Thanks, those look good, though unfortunately I only have an Amazon gift code, so the newegg deal's out of my reach. The amazon deal is a bit pricey, but I'm considering this.

These also sound good. The ear holes look a bit small. Can a full ear really fit inside, or is it more like an on-ear headset?

I would not recommend anything below $100 for headphones. I have been snubbed 1 too many times by poorly designed headphones.

Unfortunately, I'm on a tight budget, and I'm only getting headphones due to having a gift code. Ultimately, as long as it sounds good, doesn't break easily, and fits most (not all) of my specifications above, I'll be satisfied.

If what I said doesn't makes sense... it's because you don't want it to make sense.

My ears fit just fine inside my 950s. Comfortable fit, once the metal wears in a bit and they stop clamping as hard as they do out of the factory.

As far as the fear of pressing buttons when laying down on your side with an over ear headset.... wouldn't you be afraid of breaking the actual headset??? I would dare with either one of mine.
I can be patient, but I'm not waiting!
