There is a Bandi Namco game sale on Steam going on right now. I've been interested in Dark Souls 3 for quite awhile and was debating picking it (deluxe version) up here as I got a couple steam cards for my birthday. The thing is, is I recently got a Nintendo Switch (I actually found one, I couldn't believe it) and several switch games as well as the newly released Monster Hunter Stories for 3ds so I've got plenty to play already (RIP wallet). I've also been having less and less time to play videogames due to a hectic work schedule lately as holiday season approaches too, so I only get a couple hours to play a day till the weekend where I have more time; I don't wana end up getting DS3 and it just end up backlogged only to have a better sale later on.

Do you guys think there will be any bigger sales for DS3 (currently 50% off for deluxe version) on the Autumn or Winter Sales? Will it be on sale at all? Logic would say yes, but it seems like DS3 has been on sale quite a few times already within the past few months. Do you think 50% off is good enough since the DS3 playerbase is supposedly dying off? If not, what price should I be aiming for?

What are your suggestions?

Thats the same price I paid for the base game without season pass.

Its really up to how much you want to play the game. If you wait long enough, it will get cheaper. Dark souls 2 with all dlc is only 7.50 now.

If you just got the switch. Dont you have games to play on that to keep you occupied till the next sale?

Yes I do. I just mainly don't want to pay a higher price now if I'm not going to be playing it a lot; but on the other hand if the price doesn't go down within the year, id rather not wait and just get it now. I guess its more prediction than anything... apparently ds3 endgame is pvp so if I wait too long (which I may have already) the playerbase will be dead and even if I do get it cheaper its like I missed out on part of the experience.

When do seasonal sales' highlighted title discounts get released? I mean we're only about a month and a half away from the autumn sale as it is.

It sounds like you have enough to play right now. While I don't know if the discount will ever be steeper, I can assure you that you'll be able to findo this price later on when you actually want to play the game.

see what the historical low was... if it's equal to or greater than the low, then buy... if it's above the historical low but you can see that it was a long LONG time ago where it hit that point, maybe buy....

Otherwise, wait.

On a related note is Berseria worth $25? I've seen a few gameplay videos and it looks pretty fun, but I've never played a Tales game before.
