Pretty sure I've heard that the average consumer range of Volta won't feature HBM2 but rather GDDR6. A lot of grounds still needs to be covered.

So, a new architecture is boasting 50% higher fp32.
... whereas the last jump boasted 65~95%?(6144 vs 10790~12150)
Shocking.

Looks like they improved CUDA performance with that L1 cache increase, though, so that's nice.
a quad core i7 was just a rebranded celeron -Pengu1n
Anything that has 3p fps or better is fine with me -mucloud
