PC games from the 90s don't have a resolution cap.
Granted in most cases you need some kind of a patch/hack but still.

Low effort should not be rewarded.

I guess this is a new thing?

lol what a joke. Resolution is pretty much just a couple of numbers for any decent game engine.
Maybe they should license UE or Unity, since they clearly can't handle programming 3D games?

you honestly think developers do it on purpose for laughs? on PC it's not as easy as it seems.

So programming dynamic resolutions for underpowered consoles is easy?

It's it stuck at 720?

Funny, i would think figuring out resolution would be easy, since it's one of the first game programming lessons.

you honestly think developers do it on purpose for laughs? on PC it's not as easy as it seems.

the only alternative factor would be if Sony paid KT to make the resolution lower on PC, but that is hogwash, Sony doesn't care for super niche rpgs with low preorders,

and KT sure wouldn't port the game to PC if they felt it wasn't profitable nor requested on PC.

so conspiracies don't add up. PC is just too much of a hassle, or perhaps they feel the extra effort isn't worth it on PC? haven't heard their games selling much on PC.

how much did Atelier Firis sell on PC? that could be a factor in Blue Reflection PC version production values.

So the part where it says it's just the 2d images that are downsampled for the pc only and the ps4 got 1080 just went over your head? That's rough kid. They didn't make this world for you. Go back to 1600s where you can feel smart

considering the fact PS4 version is higher resolution than PC, it is a fact console like PS4 is easier to optimize than PC.

even PC exclusive developers struggle to optimize their games on PC.

look how despite all the years of experience, Bethesda still has shabby and unoptimized launch versions of their games, and they still sell millions regardless of their performance and graphical flaws.

KT placed performance above resolution for Blue Reflection on PC, so that's actually smarter than the other way around. what good is resolution if performance is worse than if they placed performance above resolution priorities?
