Check out our list of the best PC games.

According to the report, games were the only medium to fully buck the trend of piracy having a negative impact on sales. In fact, there were "significant positive effects" of piracy, and that "games have succeeded in turning illegal online transactions to their advantage by hooking up gamers and offering more levels / bonuses that are available only after paying."

It was also revealed that despite costing taxpayers nearly €400,000, the publishing of the report, which was completed in May 2015, was delayed for more than two years.

The delay was highlighted by Julia Reda MEP, a representative from Pirate Party UK, a political party that focuses on a desire to ensure the preservation of knowledge-sharing, something it sees as the foundation of global society.

Topic reads like it was written by a poorly created bot that posts articles that people would find in Google results.

Not saying Gamefaqs doesn't have bots that already do this (WORLD PC NEWS) but...

Though I'm sure publishers will ignore this and spin the old "WELL, ACKCHYUALLY, WE NEED DENUVO BECAUSE OF THE PIRACY WHICH HURTS OUR SALES" line at every chance they get.

People just want to see if the game is actually worth playing. 2 hours isn't enough, plus people don't want to keep buying and refunding games since eventually Valve will stop them from doing it.

I support a far more liberal Public Domain that envelopes all software and media a decade at most after release.

You know, if they had just stuck with the original Copyright limits, it wouldn't be so bad. That used to be 14 years and renewable for another 14. That would be dandy compared to now, which is basically designed to let large major corporations hoard every piece of intellectual property until nobody can fart in a hallway without needing to pay a royalty fee.
