Fallout 4 (with mods)

I'm 48 hours in, and I've only done one story mission, maybe three Minutemen sidequests, and a handful of other sidequests. Otherwise, I've just been dicking around, mostly with my settlements.

Before that, loooong ago, I was playing Horizon: Zero Dawn, and I was almost done with that game. That's a good game, too, but Fallout 4 has had me so hooked, it's all I've played! I'll probably come back to Horizon and beat it sooner than later, though, just to finish it.

It's been a week since the above post, and I'm now 115 or so hours into Fallout 4, and I still havne't done another story mission. I've done several more major side missions, but have spent most of my time screwing off, exploring, and customizing my settlements, especially since I downloaded the Homemaker mod pack that added over 1,000 buildable structures and objects for my settlements.

I'm also now level 28, so in areas where the enemy levels don't scale with mine, I'm blowing them away, and in the areas where enemy levels do scale, I'm in real danger pretty much all the time. It's amazing!

I should probably play something else, like finish Horizon, before I forget what the f***ing game was about. Ha! But, I just can't pull myself away from Fallout 4. f*** this game. I love this game.

Bah Fallout 4. And it's 10 second load times on my ssd. I got it down to 4 seconds which felt fine but then it went up to 10 Seconds which is distracting. Maybe it's cause my SSD was 95% full.. I've heard that slows it down.

Dragons Dogma was ok, not as fun as everyone said it was imo. There's not many different types of enemies, not many sidequests and a few of the sidequests are confusing AF because of translation.

Idk if it's just me but it felt like there just wasn't much to do in that game. Many parts felt unpolished.

Yeah, the load times can be arduous at times. I'm definitely getting load times that are up to or more than 10 seconds on occasion, but that's not generally the norm. Granted, I am playing at 4K, and I'm using a mechanical HD, so it could be the result of a number of factors.

It doesn't bother me too much, generally, as it doesn't happen to often. But when I'm in a hurry or eagerly awaiting something, like to check a cage trap, and the load times do extend into the double digit second range, it is pretty frustrating.
