Direct X12
Support for Xbox Play Anywhere (Basically Gears and Forza)
Longer Support Life
An actual good web browser by Microsoft
Just as easy to use as 7 (IMO, I hated the UI of Windows 8)

It's hard to explain but there are a ton of games and programs that can use Windows 10's ability to route a display to another place (window? another monitor?) that isn't done natively in windows 7. Programs like Bigscreen, OVR Drop, or Similar programs either don't have Windows 7 support or have Windows 7 support but at the expense of a lot of processing power.

It may have something to do with windows 10's Virtual desktops and the "task view" button.

https://www.howtogeek.com/197625/how-to-use-virtual-desktops-in-windows-10/

The task manager is actually a lot nicer to look at but there are a few times where I still needed to get to the old task manager (it's still in windows 10 just hidden).

I can have windows 10 cycle through my wallpaper on each individual monitor (better multiple monitor support overall maybe).

Also some old games that have a problem with colors stealing from the desktop's palette of colors no longer seem to have that problem in Windows 10.

That's kinda all I can think of at the moment.

On the plus side for Windows 7 though, you don't have to go through as many hoops to prevent being spied on, you can opt out of certain updates (though they started releasing "rollup updates" to force you to accept the s***ty updates with the good ones) and some people have fewer problems with windows updates in general.

Right now though, that ability to make virtual desktops is pretty useful in VR. It may not be as useful for a guy with a couple of monitors though.

So you made a thread just so you could feel justified in sticking with w7? What a shocker.

Then the one thing you may benefit from using windows 10 is the fact that older games (like 90's games) will run better.

They removed/deprecated the "Directdraw" ability from windows 10, so any game that depends on it will probably run like ass though.

Honestly Windows 10 is my favorite operating system, even better than XP. The UI is nice. I don't know how to describe it but it just feels smooth.

That's nice Ken, but it doesn't answer the question in the original post.

So basically you made this thread to reassure yourself about your decision to stay with 7, disregarding any possible positive attributes of 10? GameFAQs trolling 101.
