Y'all playing Elite Dangerous has revived that childlike sense of wonderment in me when playing video games again

Bro you got a HOTAS? cause if not, you really should. It makes the entire experience feel exhilirating. Even if you're not planning on getting anything extensive, this simple guy does the job pretty proper: https://www.amazon.com/Thrustmaster-T-Flight-Hotas-Flight-Stick-pc/dp/B001CXYMFS/ref=sr_1_2?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1508390397&sr=1-2&keywords=HOTAS

It says PS3 but it works on PC just fine

Thalos Principle VR is well worth the money, though probably more so if you've never played the "pancake" version. If you HAVE played the pancake version and want to trade up to VR, I believe they said that the save file will work. You can just move the save file over to where the VR files are and it'll look through the save file to find your progress and then convert it.

It doesn't work from VR to non-VR though.

Anyway, they put a lot of thought into the movement and comfort side of VR so you can opt for teleport, or trackpad movement, and you can opt for turning by which way you're facing, or turning with the trackpad or turning with which way your hands are pointing.

Just about the only thing they didn't add is the arm-swinging movement (which is actually my favorite).

tl;dr Croteam knows how to do VR right.

Oh yeah, you should also know if you have the flat game, they give you a 25% discount on the VR game.

Oh snap. I do own the original so that's awesome news. Wonder if they do the same for Super Hot VR.

According to this site:
https://uploadvr.com/superhot-vr-hits-htc-vive-thursday/

They do give out a discount for owning the non VR version.

But I wasn't that impressed with Superhot VR. I was hoping it would feel like a bullet-time badass game, and instead it felt like a puzzle game...but If you have the flat version then I guess you already know that. I wound up refunding it and getting Sairento instead.
