Topic.

Is there any ways to easily transfer games I've downloaded on my HDD to my SDD? Only way I can think of is manually moving it, but I'm thinking maybe there's an option within Steam to do it for you?

There is an option to move the game to a different drive under the "properties" menu(properties -> local files -> move install folder)

U can do it manually but id recommend a neat program you can download for free called ‘steam mover’ it easily lets you select games and destinations, then it simply transfers the game creating pathways that you can swap back and forward to your hearts content.

Steam Mover is outdated, as the Steam client lets you do it built-in now.

This is correct.

I believe the games it doesn't work on are games that typically update via their own client. (like many MMOs)

I know it doesn't work with Planetside 2 or ESO last I checked.

Damn, one of the games I'd want to use it for is FF14. No biggy though, it helps for all my other games. Thanks.
