With things like Big Picture Mode on Steam trying to make PC games more accessible with a controller and whatnot, I'm curious how many people play away from their desks.

I currently am still at a desk as I use my computer for more than just gaming. I always thought it would be cool to have a home theater media PC or something though. Maybe when I go for that next upgrade, this one can be recycled to that purpose...

Desk.

Even when using a controller.

PC isn't anywhere near a couch.

This. Also my monitor is better than my TV for gaming, higher refresh rate.

Much prefer right in front of the monitor. Went back to my PS3 the other day and sitting there in the living room felt so weird. The surround sound is awesome though. Big Picture Mode doesn't exactly make me want to use Steam in my living room either, despite the Steam Link sitting there unused since the day I bought it.

Couch. Always.

Sitting at a desk makes my shoulders hurt, plus there's no reason when I've got a controller and have my gaming PC in my entertainment center.

Both, when playing with nouse and keyboard I set on a desk chair but with gamepad games I use my recliner.

Everywhere, have a desktop and a laptop for gaming. Cloud saves and steam subs make it great for switching without too much of a fuss. KBM and controllers on desks, controller mostly on couch.
