I find it incredibly relaxing, not boring and slow.

You have to excuse Fail2black... he doesn't have much of an attention span so unless there's the equivalent of a laser dot for him to chase or someone jangling some keys in front of him he loses interest quickly.

I put some time into Euro Truck sim 2, but now my big challenge is getting it working comfortably in VR where I can drive around and actually look out the window casually as I drive...

LOL what a moronic comment

I played ETS2, it's my zenlike game, very relaxing.

I like it more than American Truck Simulator

Man this game was a huge let down for me. Not because the gameplay is bad, I actually like it more that ETS2, but because they were saying there would be DLC and you could drive cross country and Canada and all these different environments. Nearly two years later all they have added is Arizona. I think it will be a great game if they deliver what they said, but at this rate it's gonna take 20 years. lol

I think part of that is down to the scale. They started out making the world at a much smaller scale and it wasn't satisfying, so they stopped what they were doing and started over essentially, and remade the world in a much bigger scale. I think that alone took them about 8 or 9 months to get through. They're about to add New Mexico. I don't know if they plan on going through the southern states first, but I imagine Texas is going to be a lot of effort if they do.

They might decide to take the western states first, or just add a state on to whatever states they can connect to in whatever order. I really hope they go for the whole I-10, I-20 and I-30 routes first and then just keep moving up...
