Currently addicted to Shadow of War. Just can't stop branding orc captains and making them fight each other in the pits for my amusement.

Yes. The TL;DR explanation is as follows:

You have an account wide level. This level determines what equipment you can use. You get account level exp by leveling your equipment or completing missions.

Each Warframe, primary, and secondary have experience and cap out at 30. Once at 30, they will not give you account exp anymore.

Each Warframe, primary, and secondary can be modified. As they lvl up (from killing, finishing missions, whatever), they gain mod points. Mods drop from things you kill and can be leveled up. However when you do level them up, they cost more mod points.

In order to get more equipment, you have to get blueprints to craft their parents, which drops from bosses. The blueprints themselves require materials from missions.

The game is one giant grind fest done really well lol

It seems trite but take a break really is the best solution, you do something day after day it eventually loses it's lustre. Take a good long stretch of time pick up some new hobbies or revisit some old ones and come back with a pair of fresh eyes and there will be plenty of releases for you to catch up on odd's are one or two will probably be good.
