Some games work perfect out of the box, others stretch funny, but even the perfect ones need FOV settings adjusted a little.

So 21:9 3440x1440 owners, what has been your experience, what FOV adjustments do you have to make usually ( be specific, game and numbers used)? Just curious, cheers!

This is indeed a great website thanks.

Still welcoming posts from personal users of 21:9 3440 x1440 in regards to FOV numbers with specific games, just curious where I should aim for when I begin my testing.

I think there are fov calculators. I guess you put in the default fov for the game and it calculates from there. Not entirely sure.

120~130 horizontal for 21:9 should be pretty ideal if the game supports it.
If it goes by vertical FOV, like Source games, it's not needed.

Anything that has 3p fps or better is fine with me -mucloud

Best adjustment I made to my ultrawide was returning it for a regular 16:9 monitor. Fixed every issue instantly and made every game more immersive and enjoyable due to not having to troubleshoot issues and instantly start playing

.............with all due respect: are you stupid?

What stopped you from running games that don't support 21:9 (like Overwatch or StarCraft 2) in 16:9 mode?

I have a X34 Predator with a PC and PS4 attached to it. Nothing on PS4 supports 21:9 so I use it like a regular 16:9 monitor. A lot of movies are also 21:9 on PC so you don't get black bars.

And if we're gonna talk about less trouble shooting, why are you gaming on a PC? lol
