I’m looking for an hdmi splitter, preferably for 3 devices at a time, (one main one for pc, one main one for bluray player, one for consoles I switch out like PS4,wiiu,snes classic, switch). Preferably one where I don’t need to plug in (trying to keep number of things plugged in at a low count).

can't wait for their 4k switch. a tad disappointing to be using a 1080p switch for a 4ktv but what can you do.

I'm using this cheap tiny thing between my PC and PS4 Pro at 1080p:

(Tinyurl because GFaqs was complaining about URL lenght). It works pretty well. It doesn't need separate power and switches automatically when a new device is turned on.
Peace, freedom and bacon and eggs.

My question is...how long do they generally last?

Just buy a receiver. Then you have a reason to spend way too much money on surround sound.
