If you know anything about the industry, clearly they will still be talking about mario because developers love nothing more than producing cheap low budget pixel indie crap.

I don’t think they will think of our times’ games as I did the older ones. With so many titles coming out and easier than ever distribution, we could play 1000’s of new titles annually and cheaper than ever.

Being a kid in the 80’s meant playing what my parents bought me or what other friends had, it kind of limited what I could play so I do remember my favorites vividly. Nowadays, I’m more likely to remember the bad than the good.
I can be patient, but I'm not waiting!

People barely talk about Rayman now so I doubt they will in twenty years. Where as dark souls has become a game to compare all games and undertale reached mainstream popularity even outside of video gamers.

Nier Automata deserves a mention. It is the best game I have played in quite some time.

In a few years, I don't think people will even remember Dark Souls existed.

As for Undertale... people barely remember it exists now.

You should try and play the first Nier game, as for me it was the better game.

LMAO okay

You can't even have a game come out where countless people don't compare its combat or difficulty to dark souls.

And everyone I've ever talked to knows what undertale is. Even non gamers. Are u trying to make funny joke?

I've played all three of the Drakengard games and Nier (got all endings in all games). I liked Nier Automata's story slightly more than Nier's, and I found the former more enjoyable due to far better combat mechanics and the ability to "warp", which is absent in the original Nier.
