I upgraded mild 1080p 60 hertz screen to this Dells little brother the 24-inch version. Great screens, and if you snag these you can see for yourself the difference between g-sync and vsync

Dammit, I got the 24 inch varient, oh well 24 inch is plenty big for me anyways. I noticed when playing at 1080p, it looked too blury, lol! Be kind of hard playing at 1080p on a 27 inch. My 24 inch was the same price.

Yes. Any time you aren't running the game at the monitor's refresh rate there's a benefit regardless of what the monitor's refresh rate is. It will prevent any screen tearing.
