You don't know that his reasoning is and that's not what a strawman is. Time for you to go back to the big list of internet fallacies and try again. Don't worry, we'll wait.

Twice in this post you are wrong. Do I need to show it to you? Or can you figure it out on your own? Don't worry, I'll wait.

No way to turn it off which is the real problem.

Just because you can't find the option to turn it off doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I literally have never seen any news or ads on my W10 lock screen...because I turned it off...

I really hate the layout and usually I'm not picky about these things. However with that said they made it quite easy to navigate things like bookmarks not. They added a specific button at the top that opens up all your bookmarks and folders now without having to click through things multiple times.

The Android version shoves news in your face whenever you open a new tab which I am very miffed about. Hate all these companies thinking we need to constantly be seeing sensationalist headlines everywhere in our lives (Windows start screen for example). No way to turn it off which is the real problem.

Is this the Highlights? There is a way to turn it off and only leave your pinned/most visited pages.

New page -> Settings icon top right within the tab -> uncheck stuff you don't want

I'm talking about "Recommended by Pocket". There's no such settings icon anymore, as far as I can tell. There used to be...if I am wrong I would love to be corrected so I can remove it.

I was talking about Firefox. I understand that part of my post was unclear.

I updated on my work computer to test it out and it’s not bad, just a change and after about a week it’s still Firefox just looks a bit different

It is faster though and I notice it runs better so that’s a plus.

I still use chrome on my gaming computer, I’ll wait to see if it ends up better or not

Unfortunately you only get half as many pinned pages as before
