What are your impressions of the card?

How is the warranty/customer service for Zotac

Seems there are no performance losses to other gtx1070 cards.

I've seen a couple people talk about waiting for 1170, but when will that lanuch?
My 970 is working well and I get 60fps on Wolfenstein 2 Ultra.

Wait for 1170 or get Zotac mini for $389 (converted from $499 CAD)

Thanks.

a 1070 Ti is a much better value if you can scrounge up another 50 bucks

otherwise just wait for volta

I could scrounge.

I guess the TI would last till after the volta cards.

just get what's in your price point when you're ready to buy. Don't listen to idiots that just want to say "save up and buy X" or "just wait for X"

you aren't saving money if you have to upgrade the card earlier

there's a balance to be struck between how much the card costs and how long it will last you

When it comes to gpus size matters.
The larger the better.
Better cooling, better temps, better acoustics, better clocks.

If space is not an issue I would go with a 3 slot behemoth.

If you are building a mini PC however then yeah it's a great choice.

On the subject of the 1170... Well there's always going to be something better on the horizon. If you need a new graphics card now there's no point in waiting.
Ask yourself this: "Am i satisfied with my current performance,do I need a new card now?"

Good point.
Right now i'm satisfied with the 970, as I still game at 1080p.

I've started looking into 1440p but damn they're expensive.

Don't worry about buying Volta-- at least not yet. They won't be optimized for gaming at first anyways.
