I just built a new PC and I am not seeing the post screen/bios screen nor any video output after that from any port of my gtx 1070.

How do I know if the CPU itself is installed properly? The fans are spinning for everything. I've built dozens of PCs in my lifetime and I am stumped.

Make sure you have connected the monitor to the GPU correctly.

It's a gigabyte a350 RyZen am4 RyZen motherboard.

Googled my question and it seems like there are lots of people having issues of not being able to post.

I pretty much unhooked and rehooked the cables. Then it finally worked.

I'm in the middle of cleraing the CMOS right now as per some other forum's recommendations...

also, I had no idea Ryzen was so picky with memory configurations; I cannot even use my single 16GB hyper x ram apparently :/

Could be a bunch of things... I build and repair PC's for a living and have had this issue many times 99.9% of the time it was one of these things:

Reseat GPU
Reseat RAM and/or swap ram sticks and try different slots/1 at a time.
Reset CMOS
Unplug Monitor for 15 minutes, plug it back in, try a different outlet.
Try a different video cable.
Pins are bent on motherboard from installing CPU.

00.1% of the time it's:

faulty motherboard
faulty gpu
faulty psu
insufficient power supply.

I tried 2 different cards that work for sure...a gtx 1050 ti and a gtx 1070; neither work on this particular mobo.

I'll try getting ram that is on the list tomorrow. If not, I guess i'm SOL.
