It makes sense that most users will be behind the curve.

As long as you're not talking about a standard deviation curve.

I much preferred 7, I’m on 10 because of the directx upgrade that will invariably become important eventually but it’s ugly UI and a few significant bugs that have made features such as win+x unusable and has had me fresh installing several times has made it in my experience the worst Windows OS since ME (but I did outright avoid vista and 8)

Amazing the lengths people will go to to stay behind just for the sake of it.

4gb of RAM in that pic. Also at one point in the video he says something about people asking him questions "will it work with this hardware setup" and he goes "How am I supposed to know? Try it and if it works, it works, if it doesn't, you didn't lose anything." ...but the time doing it lol

Just f***ing upgrade!

directX12 is the main big thing for windows 10, but there isn't really anything that performs better on directX12 right now.....minimums are lower on directX12 so there is just no point to use directX12 right now (at least if you use an Nvidia GPU).

game mode is also a great feature on 10

Windows 7 is game mode. Windows 7 gained market share recently on steam.

China got added to steam stats recently so your windows 7 bump is due to that.

English is also now not the most used language on steam anymore. Go look at the page and simplified Chinese is now the most used.

If I'd have known Direct X 12 wouldn't be used this far in, I'd have stuck with Windows 7 because "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."
With deeper knowledge and experience, everything becomes more shallow.

I see topics about functionality problems with Windows 10 every few days on this board.

Why do windows 10 users care so much if people choose to stay on 7?
