OCing has been hugely overrated for a long time.

I wouldn't call a potential 10% increase in performance overrated, considering it's free. Regardless I wouldn't get any CPU lower than a 7700K/8600K or Ryzen 1700/1800 for gaming right now since cores is king and they have the highest frequencies. The i3/i5 days are basically over and gaming is now going onto 6/8 cores.

Well I have a 6700K and its fine.

People see the Civic vs. Ferrari. People also say "future games will 'x'" all the time. Not sure why you're being argumentative for the sake of it.
I just listed an i5 6 core 4.4ghz/1080 for the same price

1320 - 1200 = a price difference.

6700K is fine, but it's a dead socket and for the same price you can get a 7700K/8600K so why would you?

If it makes everyone feel better, here is a $1200 build with the SSD/i7/1080/hdd/16gb ram/aftermarket cooling.

$1200 bud, you can get off my dick now. and if you want to b**** about the $20 difference then opt for a cheap $45 case instead.

It's a good thing someone asked you to look more closely at your work.

No, I just don't believe in cheaping out... The extra $120 was well spent for a better PSU, motherboard, faster ram and a better CPU. But hey if you want to nitpick over a slight price difference the TC can go ahead and buy the cheaper alternative.

You need to get outside more and get a life. Regardless I'm done arguing with a kid who's butthurt over nothing ,good luck TC.

I did have my doubts when you said you weren't taking it personally. I still don't know why you did and denied it, but it got OP a better build for $20 more (though space is still lacking). The insults and cussing because you got worked up are unnecessary, though.
