People see the Civic vs. Ferrari. People also say "future games will 'x'" all the time. Not sure why you're being argumentative for the sake of it.
I just listed an i5 6 core 4.4ghz/1080 for the same price

1320 - 1200 = a price difference.

$1200 bud, you can get off my dick now. and if you want to b**** about the $20 difference then opt for a cheap $45 case instead.

Thought you said 4 core cpu's were bad?

I got hate on for going intel instead of Ryzen. But anyhow I would just go 6 core cpus since you will be more future proof compared to 4 cores. A few games already are recommending 6+ cores now. I imagine it will eventually become the new standard.

I did have my doubts when you said you weren't taking it personally. I still don't know why you did and denied it, but it got OP a better build for $20 more (though space is still lacking). The insults and cussing because you got worked up are unnecessary, though.

Space is lacking? I run a 500GB SSD and it's only half full... I think people believe they need more space when they don't. 1TB/256GB should be more than enough for most users. The only person taking anything personally here is you... I'm only insulting you because you act like a child and clearly need more social interaction.
7700K@5.0 - 1080 - EVGA 750 - 16GB DDR4 - Z270 ASUS
H100v2 - Evolv ATX - 500GB SAMSUNG SSD - 1TB WD BLACK

Let's keep Trump out of this.

The i5 8600K I listed is a 6 core CPU @ 4.4ghz turbo. It beats out any Ryzen in gaming. If you dont care about using your PC as a workstation or doing heavy streaming then get the 7700K and save about $50. Ryzen CPU's are only for workstations and people who don't want to spend upwards of $1000 on a gaming PC. I'd never buy a Ryzen for gaming, their per core performance is terrible and Coffee Lake cpu's are seeing as much as a 30fps increase over the Ryzen in older titles.

I'm not taking anything personally. I'm not sure why you keep demanding it be so. I would recommend OP go with the 7700k 1080 build you linked.

Yup I only use mine for gaming and I have the 6700k. The difference in power is neglegible and I don't have to deal with delidding.

That's a lot of overhead. I knew it when I got my 7700k as well. For my usage (mainly gaming), totally unnecessary.

My guess is you deleted because you knew this was the case and just wanted to argue for the sake of it, but changed your mind.
