I already have all the valve games, the bioshocks, various CoDs, lots of FPSRPGs like Fallout 3/4/NV etc (although I'd prefer a regular FPS to an RPG disguised as an FPS)

Edit: Also, I'd prefer scifi to ww2 settings

If you haven't played DOOM (2016) then you're missing out. But you don't have to be, because it's 50% off right now!

Got Crysis? It's still quite fun?

Also, can they be third person as well? Don't worry, I won't make any recommendations without your ok.

You're lucky, I'm bored and I decided to make a huge list. Here's a ton of FPS's that are on sale

Ok, here's some more FPS

Crysis Collection(I have no idea how the other games in the series are) $12 for 3 games.

Prey $20

Wolfenstein: The New Order and The old blood combo: $15 (warning: lazy subtitles)

Borderlands 2 GOTY can be played single player just fine, although it's also an rpg: $9

Dying Light(I hear it's good) $18

Shadow Warrior 2(same) $20

the Bioshock games(although they hae some rpg elements(all under 8 bucks each)

Superhot(very different FPS, I hear It's good) $15

Far Cry 3 $7

Postal 2(not my thing, but eh, you might like it.) $1

Duke Nuken 3D(I hear it's good) $7

FEAR Complete Pack(I hear that all but the third game are great) $14

Metro Redux games(it's got some minor rpg elements.) $5 each

Far Cry(I hear it's good) $4

Divine Cybermancy(This one's kinda iffy, but well loved) $2

Doom Classic Complete(these games are amazing if you just gonna go around shooting demons) $4 for 4 games

Far Cry 2(warning: very very very smart ai) $4

Doom 3 BFG Edition: $5

Stalker bundle (3 very Tactical FPS, with amazing ai that will kick your ass. Also, some of the best atmosphere ever put in games) $12

Serious Sam Games(I her these are good) under $5 each

System Shock 2(This game is one of the best games ever made, but it's kinda dated) $3

Blood(Classic like Doom) $2

System Shock: Enhanced Edition $3

Red Faction Complete Bundle (6 games for $12, most are supposed to be amazing)

Serious Sam HD Gold Collection(again, theese are supposed to be really great, mindless fun): 5 games for $7

Painkiller Complete (no idea about the rest of the series, but Painkiller: Black Edition is about as pure fun as an FPS can get) $14 for like 6 games

Hexan Collection (4 classic DOS era games, I hear they're great) $3

Whoops, didn't see that list. Thanks for making it

I've got some of those, so my opinions on them in case anyone else is reading this

Borderlands 2 GOTY can be played single player just fine, although it's also an rpg: $9

I didn't play BL2, but I played BL1 with a few friends and I didn't like it. It was too grindy for me, just doing the same crap over and over. That's fine in a full RPG, but this game was pretending to be an FPS without as many RPG elements as games like Fallout New Vegas for example. So I expected some more variety. My BL1 crew played BL2 without me, and they said it was basically the same, but with dumb cringey forced memes.

the Bioshock games(although they hae some rpg elements(all under 8 bucks each)

Bioshock 1 and 2 are some of the best story-based single player FPSes of all time, in my opinion. Great gameplay, amazing atmosphere, reasonably good plots and backstories. Infinite is good too, but INCREDIBLY overhyped and not as good as 1 and 2, mostly due to the diluted gameplay and the dumb plot. Elizabeth is a great sidekick though.

FEAR Complete Pack(I hear that all but the third game are great) $14

Metro Redux games(it's got some minor rpg elements.) $5 each

I've played the original Metro 2033. It's quite good, and gets weird in unexpected and interesting ways...

Far Cry 2(warning: very very very smart ai) $4

- Smart AI is probably code for "cheating AI"... overall a good game, beautiful nature and things, but the psychic enemies who constantly respawn when you go 5 feet away made me not finish it

Crysis is pretty fun if you're looking for a straight up FPS

Stalker is good too but has some RPG elements (not as much as borderlands or fallouts but still have inventory management, shops to sell/buy from, artifacts that can be equipped for different buffs etc)

I've got Shadow of Chernobyl, I like it a lot, but I'm looking for something a little more mindless. But I do want something with an interesting plot and/or characters, so not really something like Doom which is just pure action and nothing else (even though the action is good)
