The only effective action that can take place is at the ballot box in November

I wouldn't underestimate the power of organized violence. Enough "concerned citizens" willing to basically if not actually throw their lives away could conceivably destroy most to all of the political influence held by Time Warner, Comcast.

Mind you that I'm neither suggesting nor condoning that people take such actions. My point is that violence can, and does, represent effective action. Hell, it probably has the same chance of effecting the results you want as voting and petitions do in situations where the major names involved care more about dollars than sense.

And that's where our right to bear arms come into play.

This country cannot win as a people. When the handful of people that are in control of it, refuse to be the representatives that we hired.

The "handful of people that are in control" of our country are there because we put them there. As you said, they are our employees. As is customary, if an employee is not doing their job, they get fired. That is what a good employer does. But we as employers have abandoned that responsibility. We worship the party more than the person. A local radio personality put it this way. We the people no longer care about right and wrong in selecting our leaders. We only care about right and left.

An accused child molester is continuing to receive support in Alabama because "we need to have a Republican in the United States Senate to vote on things like the Supreme Court justices, other appointments the Senate has to confirm and make major decisions". On the other hand, a "serial groper" in Minnesota is being allowed to stay because we need people to stand up to the "Trump agenda"

DC will never change until we the people demand it. And we will only get it by getting rid of bad people, and bringing in good people, and telling both parties to go to hell. But as long as we let our choices be lead by which name as the D, and which name has the R, and nothing else matters, then the country as a whole will go to hell instead.

Does it mean anything?

Repelling Net Neutrality shouldn't be coming up for like the 2nd or 3rd time to begin with... people already spoke out before... this year.

Just makes me think like they ignore the literal million+ of outcries and what not.

Imagine advocating for this. Let me guess yer favorite philosopher is Mao? This is why I can't help but laugh when people say the right is a violent threat when you have the left advocating for violence for things like this. Net Neutrality, Global Warming, what's next? No, the above guy is right, go to the ballot box if this matters to you, but guess what not everyone agrees so you don't just get yer way (which illustrates another problem for the left, they think everyone agrees with them). Yer a legit idiot for even hinting that violence is the answer here. For f***s sake at worst we are talking about how much yer internet bill would be to buy the access you want and you want to blow s*** up.

Do it for other reasons too, like the government just being corrupt in general.

I remember back when I thought my opinion mattered to the government too. Before the second Iraq war happened and all the anti-war protests amounted to nothing.
Now, say my name.
