real story, i bought $1600 worth of parts from newegg, and im starting to regret it because i don't have much time for gaming. Unfortunately, 3 of the parts (GPU, PSU, and CPU) are non-eligible for refund, however, i read that there a few specials cases where you can waive this restriction with smooth talk (e.g. I bought the wrong CPU).

All the parts are unopened

if returning doesn't work, sell on ebay.

since unopened, might lose a little but you won't be out 1600

Realistically you should have refused the packages when they arrived so that they'd go back to NewEgg, and then you could get a refund because they were never delivered. If you signed for it and accepted it, it's yours.

If you paid for it by credit card you might be able to file a dispute (though you'll still have to ship it all back).

The only special stances are if you have a dead on arrival and there was none in Stock, then you would get a refund.

newegg has some god-tier customer service. I didn't needed an excuse. My parts are unopened and they were willing to refund it without any restocking fee. They even provided me with free shipping labels

Cool, ya most likely its because of black friday shopping. Usually they don't refund back. My monitor is no questions asked refundable till January 30th.

Good luck with that. I know some people say they have good service but when someone I know bought a laptop and it died in a few days Newegg said "not our problem" and they had to deal with weeks of horrible service from the computer manufacturer, who sent another dead laptop so they had to wait weeks more.

Perhaps it's different with individual parts, but it sounds like Newegg cannot be trusted for pre-built machines or laptops.

Of course there will be horror stories with anywhere. When I heard Microcenter was good and directed a friend to it since they have a local one, they tried to charge like a 20-30% (yes percent) in store pickup fee, didn't have the CPU he ordered so gave him a different one instead, then tried to charge him an enormous restocking fee when he refused the CPU he never ordered. He ended up paying them as much as just buying a pre-built machine would cost.
